IOB Local Bank Officer Salary 2026
The Local Bank Officer is appointed in JMGS-I / Scale-I with a basic pay scale of ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances are provided according to bank rules.
IOB LBO Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years as on 1 August 2026.
Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD, and relaxation is also available for eligible ex-servicemen and other categories according to government rules.
IOB LBO Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the nationality, age, educational qualification and local-language requirements. An applicant can apply for only one state under this recruitment.
IOB LBO Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. They must have a valid degree certificate or mark sheet when registering.
No separate minimum work-experience requirement is specified for basic eligibility. Relevant previous service as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank may, however, qualify for advance increments subject to IOB rules.
IOB LBO Selection Process 2026
Selection will be conducted through:
- Online Examination
- Local Language Proficiency Test, where applicable
- Personal Interview
The online test contains 140 questions for 200 marks with a duration of 3 hours. Final selection gives 80% weightage to the online examination and 20% to the interview.
