The probation training period is generally two years. Allowances and other benefits are payable after successful completion as per applicable rules.
RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
Age will be considered as on 1 January 2027.
- Junior Engineer-I: Minimum 21 years. Maximum normally 40 years.
- For JE Electrical in RVPN and JE Civil in RVPN, the notified upper age limit is 43 years.
- Junior Accountant / Junior Assistant: Minimum 18 years; due to non-conduct of direct recruitment in the previous three years, the notified upper age limit for this recruitment is 43 years.
- Additional relaxation is available for SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS, women, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories as per rules.
RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer-I: Candidates need a full-time four-year Engineering Degree or eligible AMIE qualification in the relevant Electrical, Mechanical or Civil discipline from a recognised institution.
Junior Accountant: B.Com/BBA, CA/CMA Intermediate, MBA/equivalent two-year PG Diploma, or M.Com as prescribed, along with an accepted computer qualification such as O Level, NIELIT, RSCIT or equivalent.
Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: Must have passed Senior Secondary (12th) or equivalent along with the prescribed computer qualification such as O Level, NIELIT CCC, COPA/DPCS, RSCIT or recognised Computer Science/Computer Application qualification.
Candidates must also have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process varies by post:
- Junior Engineer-I: Computer Based Common Written Competitive Examination.
- Junior Accountant: Online Computer Based Written Examination.
- Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: CBT consisting of Pre and Main Examination, followed by a Type Writing Test.
- Document verification and applicable appointment formalities will follow.
- No interview is conducted.
