The main examination will contain three papers. Each paper will have a duration of two hours.

Each correct answer carries three marks, while one mark is deducted for an incorrect answer.

Paper 1 contains 60 Hindi and 60 English questions. Candidates must obtain at least 30% in this paper. Paper 1 marks will not be included while preparing the final merit list.

Paper 2 will test the regional or tribal language selected by the candidate. Paper 3 consists of General Studies, Jharkhand knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, Mental Ability and Computer Knowledge.

Candidates must secure at least 30% separately in Paper 2 and Paper 3. Final merit will generally be prepared using the combined marks obtained in Paper 2 and Paper 3 after the candidate qualifies in Paper 1.

Candidates will be allowed to correct permitted details between 6 and 8 September 2026.

The correction facility generally does not permit changes to basic details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registered email address and mobile number. Other eligible entries can be edited within the correction window.

Where a candidate changes from a concessional-fee category to a category requiring a higher fee, the difference must be paid before the corrected application is finally submitted.
