RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit
The age limit varies according to the post and will be calculated as on 01 January 2027. It ranges from 18 to 40 years. For example, Nursing Superintendent requires 20–40 years, Pharmacist 20–35 years and most technical posts have an upper age limit of 33 years. SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and other eligible categories receive relaxation as per rules.
RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification
Educational qualification is post-specific. Nursing Superintendent candidates require GNM/Registered Nurse & Midwife qualification or B.Sc Nursing. Pharmacists require B.Pharm/Pharm.D with registration. Health & Malaria Inspector candidates require the prescribed B.Sc and Health/Sanitary Inspector qualification. Radiographer, ECG Technician, Optometrist, Audiologist and Lab Assistant posts require relevant diplomas, degrees or certificates in their respective fields.
RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
The CBT carries 100 marks, including 70 questions from Professional Ability and 30 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, Reasoning and General Science. There is 1/3 negative marking for each wrong answer.
