CCRUM Recruitment 2026 Full Job Description
The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine is an autonomous research organisation working under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
Through Advertisement No. 01/2026, CCRUM is recruiting candidates for scientific, medical, nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, translation, library, clerical, driving and support-service positions.
Selected candidates may be posted at the CCRUM headquarters in New Delhi or at any institute, research centre or unit managed by the Council. Candidates should be willing to serve anywhere in India.
The selected employees will receive basic pay under the Seventh Central Pay Commission along with applicable Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other admissible benefits.

Research Officer – Unani
Candidates must possess an MD or MS degree in the Unani System of Medicine from a recognised institution. They must also be registered with the Central or State Register of Indian Systems of Medicine.
Research Officer – Pathology
Applicants must possess an MD degree in Pathology from a recognised medical institution and valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
Research Officer – Physiology
Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Human Genetics or Genetic Engineering with relevant experience, or a PhD in the concerned field.
Assistant Research Officer – Pharmacology
Applicants must possess an MSc degree in Pharmacology or an MVSc degree from a recognised university.
Assistant Research Officer – Pharmacognosy/Botany
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant subject with the prescribed research or teaching experience, or a PhD in the concerned discipline.
Staff Nurse
Applicants must possess BSc Nursing, Post-Basic BSc Nursing or GNM with valid Nursing Council registration. GNM candidates may also be required to possess relevant hospital experience.
Accounts Officer

Candidates must have passed Class 12 and possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.

Multi-Tasking Staff

CCRUM Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- The applicant must satisfy the nationality requirements mentioned in the notification.
- The required educational qualification and experience must be completed by 31 July 2026.
- Candidates awaiting their final examination results should not apply unless their results are declared before the closing date.
- Candidates applying for medical, nursing and pharmacy posts must possess valid professional registration.
- Reserved-category candidates must possess valid certificates in the prescribed Central Government format.
- OBC candidates must belong to the Non-Creamy Layer category.
- Government employees may be required to produce a No Objection Certificate.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and fee for each post.
